A great honor and a great opportunity, that of presenting the Circuit of Women Entrepreneurs to the Chamber of Deputies in Rome, a project born during the pandemic, which in a very short time managed to gather thousands of members in Veneto, “capturing” a important necessity of a constantly evolving world.
An important opportunity to highlight the work and results achieved, as well as further raise public opinion and institutions’ awareness of the need to support female entrepreneurship in Italy.

The Circuit of Women Entrepreneurs is based at the VEGA Incubatore in Venice and was born during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, led by CEO Giorgia Bonotto.
It is a community of determined women, born as Venetian entrepreneurs, and grown at a national level, whose mission is to promote female empowerment and raise awareness of gender equality.
“Four or five friends set out and a few days later we found ourselves with around 6000 women – explains Giorgia Bonotto – and this made us understand that there was a need for a place where they could be correctly informed, where women could be advocates of their destiny. Thus the project has expanded from a regional level in Veneto to a national level“.
The Circuit offers a wide range of services to support women at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey. From personalized consultancy to continuous training, from leadership courses to digital marketing.
The online platform www.donneimprenditrici.it is the heart of the activity, where female entrepreneurs can find valuable resources and participate in training and networking events.
The activity of the Circuit of Women Entrepreneurs, which in 2022 obtained a non-repayable loan thanks to the INVITALIA tender, has already created a tangible change in the lives of Venetian women.
Success stories which, thanks to the support of the startup, help female entrepreneurs overcome personal and professional challenges.
There are currently almost 600 female entrepreneurs who are part of the project, with a very important social community that has more than 7,000 members.
Female Empowerment and Gender Equality
The objective is to promote the empowerment of women in the entrepreneurial world, guaranteeing them the tools necessary to excel. Raise society’s awareness of the need for real and effective gender equality, breaking down prejudices and barriers that limit women’s opportunities.
By supporting the innovation and sustainable growth of women-owned businesses in Venice and throughout Italy, Made in Italy and local craftsmanship are valorised, believing in the importance of keeping Italian artisan traditions alive, while embracing new technologies and methods innovative.
